February - spent a month in Chiang Mai, Thailand; where we have our other home. We try somehow to get a month there each year. Our hope is to do more traveling, when we have both the time and the money. Keen to see China and Japan one day. At the moment, the big goal is to do more or less nothing on holiday. Just to get away from work and where we can eat out everyday and get fantastic tasting food. The Thais and the French are definitely right to rate food as one of the top enjoyments of living.
The photo is of a smaller swimming pool that we used on the estate. The main swimming pool (length30 metres) was closed right up to the end of our time in Chiang Mai. I try and swim everyday to get into shape. Had the pool all to ourselves.

Had a third operation on my left eye when we got back from Thailand. I have Kerateconus where the cornea thins. It is a deteriorating disease. The end solution is a cornea graft. I had a successful graft on my right eye and now a successful graft on my left. The first attempt did not work and had left a bubble type thing filled with fluid behind my cornea, like a window misted up I could virtually see nothing out of the left eye. I do still wear a hard contact on my right eye and suspect I will need a hard contact when my left eye settles down.
The month off and operation time did not go down too well at work.
